SAMSUNG GALAXY S III TWITTER SWEEPSTAKES RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SWEEPSTAKES: The Samsung Galaxy S III Twitter Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 10:00 a.m. ET on June 29, 2012 and ends at 10:00 a.m. ET on June 30, 2012 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
   

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees of Samsung Telecommunications America (“Sponsor”), its respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development, evolvement and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively “Sponsor and its Administrators”) and the immediate family members of each, are not eligible to participate or win. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners.

3. HOW TO ENTER: You may enter on Twitter.com (the “Site”) during the Sweepstakes Period by responding to the provided message with the hashtag #SamsungLove (the “Submission”) that is tweeted on Twitter by @SAMSUNGMOBILEUS to receive one (1) Entry (the “Entry”) into the Sweepstakes drawing. Submissions must be 140 characters or less, including the hashtag. Messages will be tweeted on Twitter by @SAMSUNGMOBILEUS at Sponsor-selected times during the Sweepstakes Period. You must be a @SAMSUNGMOBILEUS follower and accept @SAMSUNGMOBILEUS as a follower and Tweet on Twitter for the Entry to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. Select Submissions may be posted on the Samsung Facebook Page, Sponsor’s Social Media sites or other Sponsor-selected sites and my entering, you agree to such posting, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. You must have a Twitter account to enter. If you do not have a Twitter account, and you would like to create one, visit www.Twitter.com. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address/Twitter account associated with the Entry. Limit one (1) Entry per person/Twitter ID per message tweeted on Twitter by @SAMSUNGMOBILEUS during the Sweepstakes Period. All eligible Entries must be received by 10:00 a.m. ET on June 30, 2012 to be eligible. Any Entry deemed inappropriate or containing unsuitable text, in Sponsor’s sole discretion will be disqualified. Any Entry or portion thereof that is, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory, includes references to sex, nudity, acts of violence or acts that may cause harm, contains any proper names, third party materials, or otherwise violates or infringes (or may infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, mark that identifies a brand or other proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity, sexual in nature, or is otherwise objectionable, will disqualify the entrant as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entry must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image and may not be offensive, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize the Submission from any source. Sponsor has the sole discretion to determine whether a Submission qualifies as an Entry. All Submissions must be the sole, original work of the Entrants and must be in English. Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party's pre-existing work does not qualify as an original work. By submitting an Entry, you hereby grant the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, reproduce, edit, market, store, distribute, have distributed, publicly and privately display, communicate, publicly and privately perform, transmit, have transmitted, create derivative works based upon, and promote the Entry (as such may be edited and modified by the Sponsor in its discretion) for editorial, commercial, promotional and all other purposes (including posting on any websites). Normal Internet access, phone/usage charges imposed by your online/phone service will apply. All Entries become property of the Sponsor. Entries will not be judged. By entering, you understand and agree that your Submission may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion), 1) be posted online for consumers to view on the Samsung Facebook Page, Sponsor’s Social Media sites or other Sponsor-selected sites; 2) be distributed across social media channels. Sponsor reserves the right to remove any posted Submissions, in its sole discretion, even if the Submission has already been made available to the public.

4. RANDOM DRAWING: Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected on or about July 2, 2012 from among all eligible Entries received. The random drawing will be conducted by Daniel J. Edelman, Inc., whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received. Prizes will be awarded. Winners will be notified by “direct message” (“DM”) on Twitter. Prizes are nontransferable and no cash substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to award prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Winners and all entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release and forever discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless Sponsor and its Administrators and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development, evolvement and execution of the Sweepstakes from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an Entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of the prize awarded, or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of the prizes.

5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARVs”): Grand Prize (5): A Samsung Galaxy S III phone (ARV $329 each). The ARV of the prizes listed are subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules, and the date the prizes are awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price of a prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. Service is not included with the phone. Certain carriers will not be immediately available, and may take up to 12 months for delivery, pending carrier availability. Grand Prize Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes. Limit of one prize per person. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the prize is unavailable.

6. GENERAL RULES: The Site’s computer timestamp is the official timekeeper for purposes of this Sweepstakes. Potential Prize winners will be notified via DM to winners’ Twitter handle. Potential Prize winners will then be required to supply a US shipping address to arrange for prize shipment within 24 hours (including weekends) of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected. Return of prize notification email as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate prize winner may be selected. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Sponsor and its Administrators are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Sweepstakes Entries. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Sweepstakes Entry process or the operation of the Site; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Entries generated by script or bot are not eligible. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a participant, the authorized account holder of the Site account submitted at the time of Entry will be deemed to be the participant. "Authorized account holder" of a Site account is defined as the person who is responsible for joining the Site and who manages the e-mail address associated with the Site Account. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor and award the Grand Prize from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation, if any. Prize winners and all entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its Administrators and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or prizes awarded. Void where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, participant agrees that: 1) under no circumstance will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; 2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or the prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and 3) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event, attorneys’ fees. You hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.
